The Shanghai workshop ‘Precariously Yours: Gender, Class, and Urbanity in Contemporary Shanghai’ (December 4–6, 2014) culminated in the opening of an exhibition at the Fei Contemporary Art Centre, curated by project associate Yiu Fai CHOW. For the exhibition three artists have been commissioned to produce works on the notion of gender in the city. At present a catalogue is in the making and will be published in autumn 2015.
